A flicker of hesitation crossed Bai Yue's face at Wu Yun's words, but she nodded. "Alright! I'll ask them first."
Wu Yun didn't notice the change in Bai Yue's expression and continued, "Oh, right! While you're at it, ask your roommates what they like to eat, so I can have someone make a reservation."
"Go on, get in the car!"
With that, Wu Yun pulled open the passenger-side door and slid in.
Outside the car, Lei Lei whispered, "Yueyue, are we really inviting Yang Lili and her friend? Aren't you going to tell your boyfriend just how awful that Yang Lili is?"
"I'm afraid she'll just stir up some drama if she comes!" Lei Lei said, her Mandarin tinged with a Northwestern accent.
After a pause, Lei Lei glanced at the rear of the Mercedes S600L. "Besides, from what you've said, your boyfriend is loaded. If Yang Lili sees this, she'll probably latch on and never let go."
Bai Yue felt Lei Lei had a point. "Come on, let's get in the car."
