Wu Yun had actually been a bit torn between several of the large hotels in the city center.
The first was the MGM Hotel, part of the MGM Group, located at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd. and Tropicana Ave. The hotel opened to the public at the end of 1993, making it a 25-year-old establishment. With its 6,852 rooms, it easily claimed the title of the world's largest single hotel building, a record that remains unbroken to this day.
The MGM Hotel could definitely be called the liveliest hotel in Las Vegas. Besides ranking first in the world for its number of rooms, the hotel sees a daily foot traffic of nearly 70,000 people, more than the population of many small towns in the United States.
