Deep within the mountain range, Qin Ya found a cave to rest in.
Gazing at the terrifying birds of prey that occasionally streaked across the sky and listening to the faint roars echoing from the forest, everyone felt a chill in their hearts. One of them spoke up quietly, "Flying in the open makes us too obvious a target. We'd be better off searching on the ground, within the mountains."
However, Qin Ya shook his head. "No. While it would be safer, trekking over mountains and through valleys is full of obstacles. Our line of sight and even our Divine Thought would be limited. It would make finding the Teleportation Platform much more difficult. I don't think it's worth the trade-off."
He thought for a moment, and then his eyes suddenly lit up.
"Everyone, I have a way to evade the flying Fierce Beasts. Let's split up. I'll scout from the sky while the rest of you travel on the ground, leaving a trail for me to follow. As soon as I find anything, I'll come back for you."
