A fine drizzle fell from the sky as news of the Forrester Group's implosion broke, one story after another.
Jason Forrester lay on his hospital bed, showing no intention of dealing with it.
But the people within the group could no longer remain calm.
They felt the group was on the brink of collapse. If no one in charge stepped forward, they weren't sure if they would even see next month's salary.
"Has anyone been able to contact him? Why won't he step up at a critical time like this?"
"Does Jason Forrester just not care if the company lives or dies? But when the old man passed away, he left the largest stake in the company in his hands."
"It can't be that bad. I'll try calling again."
"Are you sure you're calling his number? Not his home phone?"
The shareholders in the room were all panicking and could no longer contain their tempers.
They were one step away from standing up and flipping the table, yet Jason Forrester still hadn't shown up.
