These few demons belonged to the Feather Division.
The Cyan Eagle Demon from before had been their companion.
"Cang Shui was only a Tier Two Demon. It's not surprising he was killed when caught off guard."
The one speaking was the leader of these Feather Division demons. His human name was Cang Gou.
"But we must complete the mission the National Preceptor gave us. Since one of them can fly, we'll have to change our strategy."
"What's the plan?"
one of the demons asked.
"I'll make a move myself this time. I'll go snatch someone from the Da Xuan Envoy. As long as that flying fellow gives chase, I'll lead him right here. You all lie in ambush and swarm him. Once we kill him, we can terrorize the rest of the Da Xuan Envoy as we please."
A glint of cunning shone in Cang Gou's eyes as he spoke in a low voice.
"A brilliant plan, Lord Cang Gou!"
The other demons chimed in with praise.
None of them stopped to consider whether they could actually win a fight against him.
