Brandon Sterling looked conflicted, hesitating before he spoke. "Tristan's car accident all those years ago..."
Holly Sinclair arched an eyebrow.
She didn't say anything.
"He's always mistakenly believed I was the one behind it."
Brandon Sterling gave a bitter smile and sighed. "I've explained it to him so many times, but he refuses to believe me. That's why he's spent all these years targeting me at every turn."
Holly Sinclair's expression remained calm.
'Blood ties are a strange thing,' she thought.
'Brandon and Tristan Sterling really are brothers, bringing this up on the very same day.'
'Except they each have a different story to tell.'
"Was it you?" Holly asked.
Her tone was casual, but her gaze was sharp.
Brandon Sterling froze for a second, then immediately shook his head, declaring vehemently, "Of course not! He's my own brother. What reason would I have to hurt him?"
