Holly Sinclair frowned.
A flash of disgust crossed her eyes.
'Is he crazy?'
'I never realized before what a persistent pest he was, sticking to me wherever I went.'
Tristan Sterling stared deeply at Holly Sinclair.
His gaze traveled from her face down to her stomach.
'Good.'
'Our baby is still there.'
'With this bond between them, it would be impossible for them to ever be separated again.'
Tristan Sterling thought with relief as he walked toward Holly Sinclair.
Holly's face was an icy mask. She started walking, brushing past him as if he were nothing but air.
"Holly!"
But just as she passed him, he grabbed her arm.
Holly was forced to stop.
She looked back, her gaze cold. "What can I do for you, Mr. Sterling?"
"We haven't seen each other in so long. Can't you speak to me nicely?"
Seeing Holly's indifference, Tristan Sterling frowned. He felt a sense of helplessness, realizing more and more that he had no idea how to handle the young woman before him.
