Su Chen wasn't an idiot. He knew there had to be some undisclosed secrets, or at least things Hou Ting couldn't comfortably say.
"Alright, I get it!"
Just as Su Chen was about to hang up, Hou Ting's voice came through the phone again, tinged with hesitation.
"Young Master Su, wait!"
"Hm? What's up?" Su Chen asked, confused.
Hou Ting was silent for a moment, then said with some apprehension, "Young Master Su, 'A single cloud over the dark northwest sky.' I can't say any more than that!"
A smile touched Su Chen's lips. "Thanks!"
After hanging up, Su Chen began to ponder the meaning of Hou Ting's phrase. He thought for a long time but couldn't make sense of it.
'Sigh… It seems my foundation is just too shallow,' Su Chen couldn't help but sigh.
He had a vague sense of what was going on, but giving up just like that? Impossible!
