The notifications appeared before him. Lin Mo let out a sigh of relief and quickly checked on the two in front of him.

Bain, his body covered in wounds, also hurried over. Fortunately, thanks to Millian's intervention, the Sword hadn't landed on Evan's head.

As for Millian... her White Oak Bow had absorbed some of the force, so the Sword had stopped at her collarbone, unable to go any deeper.

The wound was serious, but not fatal.

"Millian!"

Evan snapped back to his senses and cried out in alarm. He rushed to support Millian's body and asked nervously, "Are you okay, Millian?"

"I'm not gonna die..."

Millian's brow was tightly furrowed, her pretty face slightly contorted in agony. She looked up, sizing up Evan before her. Her gaze swept over his various wounds before quickly looking away.

"Sit still. I'll treat your wound."

Bain knelt down and carefully pulled the Sword out, then began to disinfect Millian's wound.

A simple cleaning, followed by applying some salve and wrapping it with a bandage—for low-level Adventurers, this was basically the only way to treat any kind of injury.

"If only we had a Life Potion. An injury like this would be completely healed with just one bottle... no, about half a bottle."

Evan's words made Lin Mo take notice. 'Millian's injury was definitely not a minor one. Are Life Potions really that miraculous?'

Millian shot him a glare. "Using more than seven Gold Coins for one injury? Such a luxury. You think you're a Professional?"

Half a bottle of Life Potion cost 7 gold and 50 silver. A price like that was enough for low-level Adventurers like them to buy a top-quality weapon, and with a little more, they could even afford a piece of Leather Armor.

For them, Alchemy Potions were undoubtedly a luxury they could not afford.

Even if they managed to get their hands on one, they would save it to stay alive in a critical moment, not use it on a wound that was neither life-threatening nor trivial.

Millian wasn't the only one injured; the other three were wounded as well. The three or four cuts on Lin Mo's body that broke the skin were the least severe of the bunch.

After helping each other tend to their wounds, they rested by a tree for a while. Only after gradually recovering their strength did the group get up to clean up the battlefield.

There were six bodies in total. Lin Mo had basically killed four of them by himself, Millian and Evan had dealt with another, and the last one, the captain, was a group effort.

Bain laid out the spoils looted from the captain's body on the ground. There were a total of 15 Gold Coins, a suit of decent-quality Iron Armor that looked a few years old and was worth about 20 gold, and some loose Silver and Copper Coins, as well as a heavy Two-Handed Sword.

The weapon and Iron Armor were confirmed to be mass-produced items from a blacksmith shop, nothing special. They could be used without worrying about being identified.

"You take the Gold Coins and the Two-Handed Sword. We'll take this suit of Iron Armor. How about it?"

Bain knew very well that if it weren't for Lin Mo, they would have stood no chance against this squad from the Blood Sea Gang. Forget this time—they would have all been wiped out during the previous ambush.

He saw terrifying potential in Lin Mo and had no doubt that he would become a Professional in the future.

The benefits of befriending such a powerful young man would surely far outweigh this small, immediate profit. Therefore, Bain had no intention of being greedy with the loot distribution.

As for the other five bodies, they would naturally stick to their previous agreement: whoever gets the kill gets the loot.

Lin Mo considered it. The quality of the Iron Armor was actually quite good, but it was a bit too heavy for him, and the same went for the Two-Handed Sword.

Lin Mo's current fighting style relied heavily on his speed advantage. Lighter Leather Armor and a One-Handed Sword were better suited to his needs. So even if he took these two items, he would just end up selling them, which was both a hassle and a loss.

The Two-Handed Sword was only worth around 3 gold. After a moment's thought, Lin Mo said decisively, "This Sword is useless to me. You guys can have it. Evan can make good use of it."

"Alright, thanks."

Bain didn't refuse. He simply nodded and accepted.

The Iron Armor from the Blood Sea Gang captain was slightly better than his own. Bain put on the new set and gave his old one to Evan.

Evan put on the Iron Armor and picked up the captain's Two-Handed Sword, grinning from ear to ear.

"You're a generous man, brother! If you need anything in the future, just say the word. As long as it's something I can help with, I'll give it my all!"

He clapped Lin Mo on the shoulder, but the movement was too big and pulled at his wound, causing him to grimace in pain.

"Look at you, getting all carried away the moment you're happy..."

Millian's quip made everyone share a knowing smile.

Lin Mo sorted through the loot from the four men he had killed.

This group must have gotten a good haul from robbing the caravan, as each of them had at least 5 Gold Coins. The four of them together had 23. Adding the 10 from yesterday's battle, he now had a grand total of 33 Gold Coins on him!

Such a huge sum would have taken ten or so quests to earn through normal means.

And that might not be all…

Lin Mo and Bain exchanged a look. In perfect sync, they both stood up and walked toward the few tents not far ahead.

They checked them one by one, searching the insides as they went, but unfortunately, there was nothing of value.

When they reached the largest one—the captain's tent—Lin Mo pulled back the flap and was stunned to see a young girl in the corner.

Her hands and feet were bound, her eyes were blindfolded, and her mouth was gagged with a ragged cloth, leaving her unable to move.

Despite her disheveled state, her clothes looked exquisite, and her complexion was still rosy. It was clear she was used to a comfortable life.

Bain followed him in, an excited expression on his face as he looked at the girl.

The two of them walked forward and ripped away the cloths over the girl's mouth and eyes.

Sensing someone approach, the girl's body began to tremble. When she could finally see their faces, she stared blankly for a long moment before asking cautiously, "You are..."

She had heard the commotion earlier and knew the people who kidnapped her were being attacked, but she hadn't held out much hope.

The caravan had hired two full squads—eight Adventurers, several of whom were seasoned veterans. Along with more than ten of the caravan's own guards, a total of over twenty people had been slaughtered to the last man.

Even if her father had sent people to rescue her, they would have likely just been throwing their lives away.

'But now, it seems the bandits have lost?'

"We're Adventurers who took on a quest. Is your father the owner of the Yuri Commerce Association?"

Watching the girl before them nod, Lin Mo and Bain cheered almost simultaneously and high-fived in celebration, their timing perfect.

As they'd suspected, the Yuri Commerce Association had been robbed by these people from the Blood Sea Gang!

The way they looked at the girl now was completely different.

This wasn't some beautiful young maiden—this was a walking sack of 100 Gold Coins!
