They stepped into the room.
An overpowering, foul stench assaulted them.
Piles of trash were stacked in every corner.
There was hardly even room to stand.
However, under the Old Beggar's guidance, Lin Yi followed him forward.
They came to a stop before a cabinet.
The Old Beggar then turned and smiled at Lin Yi.
He reached out and twisted the cabinet's handle.
The next moment, a RUMBLING sound came from within the cabinet.
After the noise stopped,
the Old Beggar opened the cabinet door.
Inside, a pitch-black opening was revealed.
"Lord General, after you!"
Lin Yi nodded and followed the Old Beggar inside.
It was a staircase that extended downwards.
It was a good twenty-some meters long.
After they descended the steps,
they found themselves in a long corridor.
Sconces lined both sides of the corridor, and the light gradually grew much brighter.
The Old Beggar walked ahead, stopping every ten meters or so to open a door on the side.
