Elias Sommers's sudden appearance surprised everyone.
Especially Seraphina Quinn.
Her eyes were fixed on him in a daze. "You're out of the hospital?"
Elias Sommers scoffed. "My dear Miss Quinn, I just had an appendectomy, not an amputation. It's not like I needed to lie in a hospital bed for that long."
Seraphina let out a small "Oh," and asked, confused, "I thought you were afraid of getting into trouble, so why are you..." 'Why are you getting involved in my business?'
Of course, she didn't voice the second half of her question, because Elias shot her a harsh glare right then.
Seraphina swallowed the rest of her words and heard Elias say to Damian Fairchild with a smile:
"How much for the wine? Just name a price. I'll cover it for her."
