Seraphina Quinn: "It's late, Sommers. I need to rest."
After hanging up, Seraphina Quinn stared at her reflection in the floor-to-ceiling glass wall, her emotions a long and tangled mess.
The first light of dawn began to creep in from the east.
The sky was brightening.
Her dream had ended before it even began, and everything was back to the way it was.
Seraphina Quinn slept until three in the afternoon, only waking when Charles Winslow showed up at her door.
She opened the door with a head of frizzy, unkempt hair and, before Charles Winslow could even speak, yelled at him:
"Is Luminous Media going to fall apart without me or something?"
Seraphina Quinn had just wrapped three straight months of filming for *Rising Sun*. She had planned on taking a good, long rest, but then this whole mess with Kara Sommers's kidnapping happened.
Seraphina Quinn thought Charles Winslow was the epitome of an evil capitalist, completely unsympathetic and only knowing how to exploit her.
