Before she could even finish, Damian Fairchild cut her off, his voice flat. "Miss Quinn, I've been very busy lately. Barring any surprises, I'll be leaving on a business trip first thing tomorrow morning..."
Seraphina Quinn bit her lip, fuming.
'Damian Fairchild is definitely doing this on purpose.'
'He's not really going on a business trip. He's just trying to force me to move back in with him, so he's deliberately avoiding me until I give in.'
'Basically, he won't see me unless I agree to move back in with him right now.'
But Seraphina Quinn was perfectly happy living at Quinn Manor. She didn't want to move back in with Damian Fairchild.
Living with Damian Fairchild would make her feel suffocated.
