After placing the Tentacle Grass under the glass cover, Lloyd prepared to leave the Thought Realm and go back to sleep.
Before leaving, he took one last look at this desolate and deathly silent world.
'This is probably what the end of days looked like for ancient civilizations, huh? The continuation of civilization... it really is no easy feat...'
Lloyd let out a peculiar sigh, then closed his eyes and left the Thought Realm. He pulled the blanket over himself and drifted off to sleep.
Just as he was drifting into a hazy sleep, he suddenly heard someone calling his name:
"Lloyd, are you asleep?"
Lloyd paused, dazed. He groggily opened his eyes and saw that the earring Weiya had given him was glowing softly, lending a captivating, dreamlike quality to its original amethyst.
He quickly grabbed the earring, infused a bit of Spiritual Power into it, and replied:
"Almost. What's up?"
Weiya replied from the other end of the earring:
