Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: A Luxurious Daily Routine

"Hey, this is the dividing line. If you cross it, I'm going to ignore you."

Tan Hua hugged a comforter and placed it in the middle, warning Qi Sheng worriedly.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely stay on my side. But if you're the one who crosses the line, you can't blame me."

Qi Sheng chuckled to himself. 'Tan Hua is still too naive.'

'When a man and a woman sleep in the same bed, what good is a dividing line?'

"Okay, well, let's get to sleep. I have to get to the store early tomorrow."

After a simple skincare routine, Tan Hua slipped into bed, leaving only her little head exposed.

But lying next to a member of the opposite sex was an experience she'd never had in her twenty-plus years.

Her heart was pounding erratically.

Fortunately, Qi Sheng was well-behaved and stayed on the other side.

He didn't try any funny business, which allowed her to gradually relax.

Before long, drowsiness washed over her.

Tan Hua couldn't worry about it anymore and gradually fell into a deep sleep.

Qi Sheng, on the other hand, wasn't sleepy at all.

He had slept for a long time on the plane and was wide awake now.

Lying in a girl's fragrant bed, with a stunningly beautiful woman beside him... how could Qi Sheng possibly have any interest in sleeping?

About an hour passed with Qi Sheng scrolling boredly through his phone.

Suddenly, Tan Hua rolled over, draping a long, fair, and smooth leg over him.

A slender arm, as white and tender as a lotus root, rested on his chest.

'No way, I have to record a video first. You're the one who touched me first.'

Qi Sheng took out his phone to record proof of his innocence.

Then, of course, he pulled his girlfriend into his arms.

His hands began to gently caress her skin, which was as smooth and silky as satin.

He couldn't stop stroking her, captivated by the delicate and supple texture.

The faint, natural fragrance wafting from Tan Hua's body was intoxicating.

'There's a reason they call them top-tier beauties.'

Cradling the fragrant beauty in his arms, Qi Sheng gradually fell asleep too.

...

When Qi Sheng woke up, the pillow next to him was empty.

Tan Hua had already left for work.

He checked WeChat and saw a message from Tan Hua.

Tan Hua: "I'm heading to work. When you wake up, remember to eat. We have an event at the store, so I'll be working late. Don't wait for me for dinner tonight."

Qi Sheng glanced at the time. It was almost eleven.

After quickly washing up, Qi Sheng changed into a fresh set of clothes.

An LV embroidered cotton Polo shirt, 9,450 yuan.

A pair of pure cotton cargo shorts, 13,000 yuan.

A pair of very flashy TRAINER sneakers, 13,000 yuan.

Paired with a ROPE series bracelet and necklace, totaling 14,500 yuan.

This whole LV outfit cost 50,000.

Looking at himself in the full-length mirror, he looked just like a sunny and handsome young man.

Qi Sheng was in a great mood. He gave himself a score of 83; the rest was just the model.

...

Driving his A8, he returned to the National Gold Mansion.

"Mr. Qi, good morning."

The receptionist at the entrance saw Qi Sheng and immediately stood up to greet him.

"Hello to you too."

Qi Sheng smiled and nodded, marveling at the high quality of service at a top-tier apartment building.

He took the elevator to the 17th floor, entered the code, and pushed the door open.

Today in Chengdu, the sun was shining brightly, a rare occurrence.

He walked over to the 270-degree, floor-to-ceiling corner windows.

Looking at the blue sky, white clouds, and the bustling crowds of Taikoo Li below, it was impossible not to be in a good mood.

The meticulously cleaned room was practically spotless.

Even someone with OCD would feel cured.

Before long, Cheng Qi appeared at the door.

"Mr. Qi, the cleaning fee from yesterday was 800 yuan. Would you like to pay now, or shall I put it on your account?"

Qi Sheng smiled, turned around, and beckoned her over.

"Come in, come in. I'll just top up my account with ten thousand. From now on, if I need any services, just deduct it from there. If it's not enough, I'll add more."

"Of course. Thank you for your trust in us, Mr. Qi."

Cheng Qi gave a slight bow, not at all surprised by Qi Sheng's extravagant gesture.

The people who could afford to live in their National Gold Mansion were, naturally, all from the elite class of society.

Casually topping up an account with ten thousand yuan was nothing to them.

Judging by Qi Sheng's clothes, his outfit probably cost tens of thousands.

He was an absolute VIP client, the kind they had to serve exceptionally well.

After Cheng Qi took her leave, Qi Sheng walked around the apartment.

He casually made a note of the daily necessities he needed to buy.

There was no rush to go shopping, however. Qi Sheng sauntered over to the Niccolo Hotel next door.

The distance between the two buildings was less than 100 meters.

He went straight to the second floor, where there was a Cantonese restaurant called Yue Xuan. The average cost per person was a little over 300 yuan.

"Sir, are you dining alone?"

As soon as he entered, a waitress greeted him enthusiastically.

"Yes, just me."

"Of course. This way, please."

The restaurant's decor was very high-class.

After all, being in the Niccolo Hotel, it had to have a certain prestige.

It was almost lunchtime, and there weren't many empty tables.

Qi Sheng was led to a corner of the restaurant, and the waitress handed him a thick menu.

"I'll have the wasabi-mayo shrimp balls with fresh fruit, the roasted squab, steamed chicken feet with honey sauce, charcoal-grilled honey BBQ pork, three shrimp dumplings, three salted egg yolk buns, and finally, the Neptune's Lobster Soup with Crispy Rice. For my drink, I'll have Pu'er tea."

Qi Sheng closed the menu. "Oh, and I'd like one order of the Neptune's Lobster Soup with Crispy Rice to go, as well as 30 shrimp dumplings and 30 salted egg yolk buns. Have them ready for me to take when I'm about to finish my meal."

"Certainly, sir. Please note that we charge a 10% service fee and a 6% value-added tax. We hope you understand."

The waitress gave him a considerate reminder to avoid any unpleasantness when the bill came.

"OK, please bring out the food as soon as possible."

Qi Sheng nodded, not bothered in the slightest.

'My funds might not be that substantial right now,' he thought, 'but I'm about to enter the million-a-month income bracket. A monthly income of 200,000 only counts as middle class. A million a month, and you're firmly in the wealthy class.'

Soon, the waitress brought out the shrimp dumplings and salted egg yolk buns he had ordered.

Qi Sheng sampled each one and felt they were quite good.

'When it comes to pure culinary skill, though, they're about on par with my current level. If I made them myself, they wouldn't taste any worse than this restaurant's. But why go through the time and effort yourself for something you can just buy with money?'

After eating for nearly an hour, Qi Sheng had swept the table clean.

With his Physique now at 69, Qi Sheng's appetite was much larger than when he was a weakling.

Fortunately, he had money, so this wasn't an issue.

"Mr. Qi, here is the food you wanted to go."

The waitress handed him an exquisitely packaged takeout bag.

It had the Yue Xuan restaurant logo on it and looked quite nice.

"Thanks."

Qi Sheng walked out of the restaurant with a light step, carrying the bag.

Money changes a man.

When you no longer have to hustle for a living, your mindset becomes completely different from that of an ordinary person.

This lunch cost him 420 yuan.

The takeout food cost 800 yuan.

Including the service fee and VAT, he spent 1,415 yuan.

Over a thousand yuan for a single meal—this was an experience he wouldn't have even dared to dream of in his past life.

Now, it was just his daily routine.

Being rich is truly a happy experience.

A happiness, in fact, that ordinary people can't even begin to imagine.
