For most people, December 19th was just another ordinary day.
But for Qi Sheng and his girlfriends, it held an extraordinary significance.
Because today was Qi Sheng's birthday.
Early in the morning, Tan Hua woke Qi Sheng from his warm bed.
After they washed up, the two of them went to the dining room.
"Sweetie, I made you some longevity noodles. You have to eat them all in one go."
Dressed in a white silk nightgown and holding a bowl of steaming longevity noodles, Tan Hua was the very picture of warmth and affection.
"Alright."
Qi Sheng slurped up the entire long noodle in one go.
With the added bonus of his girlfriend's heartfelt effort, it tasted pretty good.
You could say it was the second-best bowl of longevity noodles he had ever eaten.
The best, of course, were the ones his mother made.
"I'm going to roll an egg over you. I hope you'll be healthy in the new year. May it roll away the bad luck and roll in the good."
