"Yan Haifeng, I'm surprised you even remember who I am."
Leng Ning's expression was cold as she faced this grandfather, a man for whom she'd never felt any familial affection.
"Ning'Er, I'm your grandfather. Of course I remember you." Yan Haifeng's heart was a tangle of complex emotions.
"What difference does it make if you do or not?" Leng Ning shrugged.
Jiang Xinghai stepped forward to stand beside Leng Ning.
He could sense that the aura radiating from Yan Haifeng was stronger than Leng Ning's, and he prepared for the worst.
"Fine. We'll discuss the matter between us later."
Yan Haifeng's expression grew cold. He turned to look at the box truck. "You're saying my three younger brothers are in there?"
"We had no choice," Leng Ning replied. "Their bodies aren't strong enough to handle a normal ride, so they have to lie down and rest inside."
Yan Haifeng shot Leng Ning an icy glare, then signaled for the old butler to open the truck.
'Not strong enough for a normal ride?'
