The opening ceremony was held on July 18th.
The new students gathered in the auditorium. Dean Zhou Qinfeng gave a welcome speech from the stage, flanked by the lecturers of the various departments.
The students had little interest in Zhou Qinfeng's platitudes. Most of them were looking at Guan Tong, whispering amongst themselves.
"I came to this academy specifically to study under Ms. Shi Jingyi, but she ended up being replaced. I can't stand it."
"Yeah. It seems she really practices what she preaches. She must have joined the earthquake relief efforts. Otherwise, she wouldn't have gotten injured and needed to recuperate."
"Does anyone know anything about this new acting lecturer?"
"There's very little about him on the official website, just his name: Guan Tong. Is he an honors graduate from last year's class?"
"I asked a senior who attended every single 'Psychic Power Flow' class last year. He said he'd never seen this person in class."
