Through the curtain of rain, under a tilted oil-paper umbrella, the two of them walked in silence toward the second checkpoint. When they reached the pavilion for the second challenge, however, they only saw Anna Summers and Vincent Vance. Ruby Sawyer and Leo Bishop were nowhere to be found.
Anna Summers was frowning. When she saw Ethan Quinn and Amelia Lockhart approaching, she was first surprised that they were actually sharing an umbrella, but then she saw the "crisscrossed" mess on Amelia's face.
