She slept well through the night.
When Amelia Lockhart woke up, she suddenly remembered Vincent Vance. She quickly looked at the pallet she'd prepared on the floor, but it was perfectly neat, with no sign of having been slept in.
After Vincent left last night, Amelia had thought for a couple of seconds before making the pallet for him.
'If Vincent doesn't want to sleep on it, then I'll take the floor,' she had thought. 'In any case, it's too awkward for two people to share a bed.'
But late last night, Vincent had rushed back only to leave again just as quickly. He just tossed a "get some sleep" at her and then vanished.
Amelia finished washing up and was about to go look for Vincent. As she opened the door, she happened to receive a morning task card.
"Make a 'breakfast of love'? And my partner has to choose the right one?" Amelia's lips twitched.
