But when he opened his eyes, he definitely heard a voice calling his name.
After her bath, Luna Morgan had left with Leo Bishop, so he had gone to another bathroom to take a quick, hot shower.
Ethan walked to the bathroom door and knocked. Before he could even ask anything, he heard a voice laced with pleasant surprise.
"Ethan?"
Ethan hummed in acknowledgment. "What's wrong?"
After he asked, silence fell again. Ethan paused for a moment, seeming to sense the person's predicament behind the door. "Forgot your clothes?"
'Ruling out the possibility that she was inviting him to bathe with her, this was the only other option.'
Having been found out, Amelia Lockhart felt incredibly awkward. "Could you help me check my room? I thought I brought them in with me, but there are no clothes in the hamper. Maybe I forgot to grab them."
