In the end, Silas Linden found himself kicked out of the room by Willow Finch.
Silas Linden gave a resigned smile. He walked to the door, glanced at the video doorbell, and raised an eyebrow. He then called back into the room, "It's Amelia."
The moment he spoke, he heard a door click shut inside. Silas Linden took the hint and opened the main door.
The moment Amelia Lockhart saw Silas Linden, she asked, "I'm looking for Willow. Is she here?"
"Little Princess, why would Willow be here with me?"
Amelia Lockhart looked utterly unconvinced. Her eyes darted around, trying to peek past Silas Linden into the apartment, hoping to catch a glimpse of something.
"What's this?" Amelia Lockhart asked, pointing to a pair of women's shoes by the door.
Silas Linden glanced down and saw Willow Finch's shoes by the door. Without missing a beat, he smiled and replied, "Mine."
Amelia Lockhart immediately shot him a look reserved for a total creep, her eyes brimming with disdain.
