Ronan Fordham had followed Julian Winslow for years; he naturally understood his boss's intentions.
"You two, go to the police station and turn yourselves in right now. Reform yourselves properly inside. Don't be in such a hurry to come out..." Ronan's expression was stern, his tone laced with an icy chill.
"Yes... Yes..."
The expensive SUV then sped away, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Seeing the car leave, the two men instantly collapsed to the ground, patting their chests in lingering fear.
"Bro, do we really have to go to the police station to turn ourselves in? We didn't even succeed, did we?" one of the men asked.
"Are you an idiot? Didn't you hear what he was implying? Right now, the police station is way safer than out here. Do you think we messed with some ordinary civilian? We offended the head of the Winslow family! We'll be lucky just to sit in a cell and eat prison food."
Not long after, the car pulled up in front of an inn.
