Seeing Jett's displeasure, Kian Miller casually rested his arm on the doorframe, completely blocking the exit.
"The moment this kid shows up, she won't even let us call her 'sister-in-law'? All the more reason we can't let him leave."
Sensing things were about to go south, Sean Conrad and Chloe Fairchild immediately got up and moved to Zane Patterson's side.
Sean's voice cracked with anxiety. "Zane! How are you? Did your wound tear open again? Why do you look so awful!"
He straightened up, his voice filled with do-or-die desperation. "Kian Miller! Get the fuck out of my way! You hear me?! Move!"
Being yelled at like that, Kian Miller got angry too. "Hah. What, you wanna start something?"
He began to slowly roll his shoulders and neck. "I don't hit women. But that doesn't mean I won't hit men."
