"Since both parties agree," Jett Westgate began slowly, "you can go get the marriage license this afternoon."
Zane Patterson's brow twitched as he whipped his head around. "When did I agree to that?"
Jett Westgate pulled a document out from under the coffee table and pushed it toward him.
Four bold words were printed on the document's cover: Veridia Shipping Equity Transfer Agreement.
Jett Westgate leaned back into the sofa and signaled. "After you and Miss Morgan get your marriage license, these terms will take effect immediately. You'll get back 70% of the controlling shares, and the Patterson Family will become the largest shareholder in Veridia Shipping."
"Seventy percent? What about the other thirty?"
"The remaining thirty percent will be held by my Zenith Group, and in the future, you'll have free rein to use Zenith Group's resources."
