Barbossa had witnessed Velin's combat strength in the harbor, but this was the vast ocean. The rules of engagement were entirely different here.
He wouldn't dare lead his fleet to attack a well-defended port. But now, the enemy was willingly sticking his neck out, and Barbossa was absolutely confident he could chop it off.
