"When are we going to have a baby?"
Jace Lennox said nothing.
"What's with that expression? You've quit smoking, and I've made all the preparations I can. But it's been several months, way past the deadline you set, and there's still no sign of anything."
"You want to have my baby that badly?" Jace Lennox suddenly chuckled.
"What are you talking about? Weren't you the one who kept saying it?" Phoebe Faulkner gave Jace Lennox a playful punch. "Who wants this more, me or you? If you keep acting like this, I'm telling you, I'm not having your baby."
"That won't do." Jace Lennox swept Phoebe Faulkner up into his arms. "If you don't have my baby, my family line will go extinct."
"Pfft." Hearing this, Phoebe Faulkner couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Go extinct? What kind of thing is that to say?"
