In the spacious living room, only Olivia Wynne and Zachary Fairchild remained. The tension she had felt all day could finally ease a little. Her hands fell to her sides, and Olivia Wynne looked up at Zachary Fairchild.
"Why did you just agree with your mom?"
"My mom?" Zachary Fairchild glanced over at Olivia Wynne, his deep eyes filled with a faint, questioning look.
He stared at Olivia Wynne for a moment before speaking slowly. "You should call her Mom."
Olivia Wynne was speechless.
"Never mind what I call her. Don't you have your own apartment? We can just stay there tonight."
She had made a point to check out his apartment when she was there earlier. It was a three-bedroom unit, so there would be plenty of room for both of them to sleep separately. But if they stayed here, judging by what Zachary's mother had said, she'd have to share a room with him.
