Evelyn Grant smiled. "I just got back from the desert. I was about to call you."
Yara Summers was a little surprised. "You went to the desert?"
"Yeah, I was there for three days and two nights. If you have time in the future, we should go together. It was so much fun."
Yara's voice was a bit distant as she sighed with envy. "That's so nice."
After pausing for a few seconds, she suddenly asked, "Are you in Veridia? I'm on vacation for a few days. Can I come see you?"
Something was off about her tone. Evelyn frowned as she listened but kept her own voice even. "Of course, you can. Just message me when you're arriving, and I'll have someone pick you up."
