He raised his voice in anger.
"Evelyn still doesn't know, does she?! I'm going to tell her! You've been watching her this whole time!"
He never got the chance to shout the rest. A tall, sturdy man clamped a hand over Leo Lawrence's mouth, cutting him off. He dragged him away, muttering in a low, deep voice, "Call Mr. Keaton."

But when she woke up the next day, the world outside was blanketed in a thick layer of snow.
The snow hadn't stopped, still fluttering down from the sky and reflecting in Evelyn Grant's eyes. She grabbed her down jacket and ran downstairs in excitement.
"It's snowing, Yara!"
Yara Summers had just finished making breakfast, which was still steaming. She smiled and nodded. "Happy now? Eat first. We'll go say goodbye to the neighbors later."
The snow was heavy and thick today. There was a warning that it would last all day, so schools were closed, and the adults were all working from home.
