Chapter 5 Mu Changge: Hey~ What's 1000-7?
"Ahhhhh! I'm going to kill you! I'll definitely kill you!"
Looking at Bibi Dong's flushed face, filled with extreme anger, Mu Changge felt no disgust, but rather excitement.
He couldn't help but pinch her cheek and laugh happily: "Bibi Dong, do you know? You look much cuter than before."
Presumably, only Mu Changge had ever seen Bibi Dong with this expression.
Mu Changge ran his fingers through Bibi Dong's slightly curly long hair, gently stroking it, and said softly, "Hey~ Bibi Dong, let's play a game?"
Bibi Dong ignored Mu Changge and bit his arm again, her eyes filled with undisguised killing intent.
But just like before, it had no real effect. She could easily scratch Mu Changge's face with her fingernails without using her soul power before. But
ever since Mu Changge's body was no longer weak, his physical strength had increased dramatically to an almost monstrous level.
"Such a fine air about you. I hope you can be just as tough later."
Mu Changge didn't bother to pry her teeth open, knowing that Bibi Dong would eventually give in.
With his other hand, he grasped one of Bibi Dong's slender, long fingers, as if carved from white jade, and asked gently, "Come on, Dong'er~ tell me, what is 1000 - 7?"
He received only that fierce and crazed look in return.
Clearly, Bibi Dong had no intention of playing this childish game with him.
To this, Mu Changge simply smiled gently, while simultaneously tightening his grip.
Crack!
The next second, a crisp sound of bone breaking rang out,
"Ughhh—!!"
Caught completely off guard, Bibi Dong cried out in pain, her scream echoing through the secret room.
Bibi Dong, her lips trembling with pain, turned her head to see that the index finger of her right hand, which Mu Changge had just held, was twisted into a pretzel. Its once fair and beautiful color was gone, replaced by a horrifying bruise.
"Hey~ Dong'er, what's 1000 - 7?"
Mu Changge pinched Bibi Dong's chin, making her look at him, and continued to repeat the question with a smile.
As he spoke, he had already grasped Bibi Dong's next intact finger.
"Don't do this, please...please!"
As the saying goes, the ten fingers are connected to the heart, and the pain of having a finger broken is something that no ordinary person can endure. In addition, Bibi Dong's psychological defenses had been completely broken by Mu Changge's words, and her resistance to pain had dropped even further.
Just as Bibi Dong begged for mercy, Mu Changge stopped, looking at Bibi Dong with tears and snot streaming down her face, and said mockingly, "Oh? Begging me? So even the proud and cold Pope can beg for mercy? In that case, give me a smile, and I might consider letting you go."
Bibi Dong was stunned. Just now, she had only begged for mercy subconsciously, but now that he had pointed it out directly, and even made such a request, it was tantamount to rubbing her dignity into the ground.
To avoid experiencing that pain again, Bibi Dong forced a smile: "Please, don't break my fingers..."
Bibi Dong's smile was genuinely ugly, but Mu Changge's smile was heartfelt. "Hmm, good girl~ Since that's the case..."
Just as Bibi Dong thought she had escaped unscathed and was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Mu Changge mercilessly twisted off her next finger.
"Ahhh—!!"
Bibi Dong screamed again.
Releasing her twisted finger, Mu Changge smiled: "I've thought it through. I still think continuing to play will make me happier."
For the next few hours, no matter how much Bibi Dong begged, Mu Changge ignored her completely, crushing all her fingers, toes, and the bones of her limbs bit by bit.
Finally, Bibi Dong fainted from the pain, her body twitching intermittently, looking quite pitiful.
"Sigh~ Seeing how pitiful you are, I'll treat you." Mu Changge tried to mobilize the vast energy within his body, and soon a wisp of white light appeared in his palm. Concentrating his energy, the light quickly grew stronger.
Strangely, Mu Changge had never cultivated any kind of power; his only attribute was an exceptionally strong body. This so-called energy was likely his blood and vital energy, or life force.
Yet, he could control this so-called "energy," a truly miraculous feeling.
He placed his hand on Bibi Dong's severed finger, and the bruise quickly faded, restoring the finger to its pre-injury state.
The bones in his limbs also healed completely, returning to their previous state.
"Hmm, perfect."
Having finished the treatment, Mu Changge glanced at his slightly disheveled hair, now long and flowing down his shoulders, which was rather cumbersome if left unattended.
Looking down, he saw small fragments of Bibi Dong's clothes scattered everywhere on the ground; there wasn't even a single piece to tie his hair with.
Sighing, Mu Changge suddenly noticed a piece of purple triangular fabric in the corner. Picking it up, he realized it was Bibi Dong's underwear…
He wasn't disgusted, merely remarking that purple was indeed quite charming, and quickly tied his hair into a high ponytail.
As if sensing something, Mu Changge felt it was time to leave. After all, this was the Spirit Hall, and playing around like this in the basement of the Spirit Hall's headquarters was, undeniably, quite courageous.
But for some reason, Mu Changge felt that now was the time to leave, as if a voice deep within him was telling him so.
Turning to walk towards the door, he muttered, "What a pity, I guess I'll have to start all over again next time."
But his lighthearted tone betrayed no trace of regret. Before leaving, Mu Changge glanced back at Bibi Dong, a sickly smile spreading across his face: "Looking forward to it, hehehehe."
Only the unconscious Bibi Dong lay on the cold ground...
...
Before the Papal Throne, the group led by Gui Mei Yue Guan had been standing for a whole week, but Bibi Dong still hadn't arrived.
"Old Gui~ I'm so tired, should we go back?" Yue Guan, his face covered in dark circles, leaned his head on Gui Mei's shoulder.
He felt that standing for a week straight was more painful than enduring a life-or-death battle.
Among everyone present, only Gui Mei's face didn't show any dark circles.
Well! After all, his entire face was dark.
Exhausted from standing for so long, the ghost was nearly knocked over by Yue Guan's sudden movement. He glared angrily at his old friend and asked, "Don't you want to improve your cultivation?"
Hearing this, Yue Guan's face instantly turned bitter, even with dark circles under his eyes.
"But Her Holiness the Pope hasn't come out for a whole week! Who knows if she'll stay inside for another week, devouring..."
"Silence!"
Before Yue Guan could blurt it out, the ghost's cold shout cut him off. Yue Guan quickly covered his mouth, realizing what had happened.
He glanced at the people behind him, seeing that most had been awakened by the ghost's shout, and some had even fallen asleep standing up. The two finally breathed a sigh of relief.
If this reached the ears of the High Priest Qian Daoliu, and he managed to snatch that person from Bibi Dong's hands, he would be skinned alive by the enraged Bibi Dong!
Where did Bibi Dong get such pure energy? Why did she disappear for half a day before bestowing energy upon her subordinates? Where did she go?
These are questions that probably only Ghost and Moon Guard truly understand within the entire Spirit Hall.
After all, it was the two of them who carried that person with such terrifying life force back, and the pure energy bestowed by Bibi Dong was exactly the same as what they felt from that person!
"Old Ghost, do you think His Holiness the Pope might have encountered an accident inside, like being attacked by that person..."
