The light swallowed them completely, and when it faded, Batista and Kista found themselves in a forest unlike any they had seen before.
The trees were impossibly tall, their leaves shimmering with colors that did not exist in the normal world. Shadows moved as if they had minds of their own, and every sound seemed amplified: the rustle of leaves, the whisper of wind, even the soft padding of Kista's paws.
"Father… where are we?" Kista asked, looking around nervously.
"This is the Forest That Watches," Batista replied.

Kista took a cautious step forward, feeling the eyes of the forest upon him.
"Tests?" he asked.
"Yes," Batista said, his voice calm but serious.

A sudden rustle made Kista freeze. The shadows between the trees seemed to shift closer. He felt as if something was looking directly at him.
Batista kneeled down, placing his paw gently on Kista's shoulder.
"Remember the first rule, Kista. Fear is not your enemy. Hesitation is. Trust yourself, and you will survive."
Then Batista's leg began to vibrate again. The mark on his leg glowed faintly.
"This is the first code," Batista explained.
"Code 7. It unlocks the path deeper into Kirata Land. Every code you learn is a lesson. Every lesson is a step toward understanding the world… and yourself."
