Keaton Thorne stood by the conference table, flustered and unsure how to argue back, when the meeting room door was suddenly kicked open.
Robin Grant walked into the meeting room, followed by Cynthia Grant and Neal Wallace.
When Cynthia Grant saw the scene on the video feed, her heart leaped into her throat. She had heard Chelsea Todd's hysterical screams from a distance, and now, seething with anger, she strode over and slapped Chelsea twice across the face.
SLAP! SLAP!
Chelsea Todd froze for a second. By the time she snapped out of it and tried to strike back in humiliated fury, a thick, thorny vine had already wrapped around her.
"So it was you, Chelsea Todd! What grudge does Flora Bloom have with you? Why did you have to set her up like this?!"
The vine, mirroring its master's rage, tightened its grip. Sharp thorns dug into Chelsea Todd's skin. Within moments, she convulsed a few times and passed out.
