"Yue Mao... was killed by someone with wings!"
Back in the villa, Flora Bloom, Lex Cross, Caleb Bloom, Jade, and the others all fell silent.
Although Yue Mao was rarely seen, he had helped Flora Bloom by gathering information and giving her reminders about many matters within the base.
During the many days Lex Cross had been away in the past, he had never shown himself, but Flora Bloom knew there was always someone in the shadows, watching over her.
'Dead?'
The news caught Flora Bloom completely off guard. Even The Crown Prince, a civet cat hiding in the shadows, grew unsettled.
Yue Mao had often asked them for tips on Hidden Abilities and sparred with them frequently. Although they always beat him soundly, a bond of brotherhood had been forged between the men.
A silence fell over the room, which was finally broken by Flora Bloom.
"Someone with wings?" Flora Bloom murmured softly.
