Jade stepped out and looked at the woman before her, whose features bore a slight resemblance to her daughter, Flora Bloom.
"Mom…"
Jade looked at the woman before her, her gaze wavering and her expression softening. The name 'Flora' almost escaped her lips.
"Mom, it's me, Belle." Belle Bloom tried to move closer to Jade, but to her surprise, Jade took two steps back, a shocked look on her face.
"Belle Bloom? We only have one daughter, and her name is Flora Bloom! Don't think you can impersonate her just because you have a face that resembles my daughter's!" Caleb Bloom walked over just then, pulling Jade to his side as he turned to leave.
"Mom! Don't you recognize me? I'm Belle! Dad, it's really me, Belle!"
Suppressing her longing for her daughter Flora and her hatred for those who had harmed her, Jade stopped in her tracks.
