Rhea looked intently at the young man's face. He was slightly taller than Caelis and had jet-black hair like Dwayne's, but golden eyes similar to Caelis's. Furthermore, she could sense an aura surrounding the young man that was remarkably similar to Caelis's.
"Jaxen told me where you were. If I hadn't come, you probably wouldn't have returned home before the end of the holidays. Besides, why have you been ignoring Mom's calls?"
Caelis sighed. "I wasn't ignoring them. I was planning to return tomorrow."
"You wouldn't have returned tomorrow if I hadn't come here. Am I right?"
Caelis averted his gaze from his older brother. He didn't want to lie to Klaude, so he simply chose not to answer.
"Aren't you going to introduce me to them?"
Caelis carefully wiped the remaining chocolate from the corners of Lina's mouth before introducing her to his brother. "This is Lina, the adopted little sister I told you about."
