Synopsis
In a universe where starships dominate and empires clash across countless galaxies, the Milky Way Galaxy stands larger and more dangerous than ever before. Ethan, an orphan reborn after a tragic death, awakens aboard the Argonaut—a Super-Class Dreadnought he once designed in the game Celestial Conquest. Chosen and brought to life by an unknown higher being, the ship is a masterpiece of unimaginable power, forged from mythical alloys and armed with weapons capable of devastating entire fleets. Bound to a mysterious system, Ethan must rise from a lone survivor to a force that can shape the fate of galaxies. As ancient threats awaken and invaders threaten to bring an end to the universe, he must fight—not just for power, but to protect those he lost once before. Can one man, even with the strongest ship ever created, stand against the end of everything?

Chapter 1 - Ch 1 The Arrival & Awakening!

In the vast depths of space, somewhere in the bounds of a massive galaxy!! In an undeveloped star system—a barren one filled with an endless field of asteroids and dead celestial bodies and a super star!

Some asteroids were as big as planets themselves, many bigger than Earth, while others were no larger than small mountains. The space around the star system was eerily quiet, as it should be for the nature of space where no sound exists!

Suddenly, somewhere within the asteroid field, something broke the silent nature of space!! A humongous ripple in space began to happen!! Its intensity increased second by second, affecting layers of asteroids; some even collided with each other while others simply vanished under the spatial instability.

An area of about a few hundred kilometers cleared, with no asteroids around it, as those that were there were already completely destroyed by the spatial instability!!

Not long after that, a massive, colossal rift tore open vertically… as if something or someone had sliced through the fabric of space. The spatial rift quickly formed, with its length being more than 100 kilometers itself, before it expanded into a circular spatial portal that had a diameter of exactly 100 km!!

From the published spatial portal, slowly, something began to emerge! It was pointy, made up of some unknown blackish alloy with a tint of purple mixed within….

And in a few moments, the unknown thing completely came out of the colossal spatial portal, or whatever it was!! What emerged was astonishing: a ship—a colossal one, no different than the spatial portal!!

This colossal vessel was at least 78 km long; its obsidian wedge-shaped hull gleamed with the light of the sun and the distant stars. The hull was unblemished and pristine, as though the ship had just rolled out of the shipyard. Surrounding the vessel was a similarly obsidian energy that could be seen throughout!!

Just as the vessel was completely out of the spatial barrier, the spatial portal began to shrink and quickly collapsed in on itself until nothing of it remained!! And quickly, the familiar silence returned to space!!

The space that was cleared by the spatial fluctuation was soon overtaken by the asteroids as well! Some even struck the unknown vessel but were quickly deflected by the obsidian shield.

Though the asteroid field had a new member joining, while this member's entry had ended the lives of many old residents (asteroids), many even older asteroids were now furious.

It could be seen they were trying to spend their fury as they constantly struck this new member of theirs, which was completely unwelcome!! Yes, their continuous striking at the shield of the ship not only failed to harm it, but they instead harmed themselves!!

Others, seeing that, could only cry and try to not come near this deadly new neighbour of theirs!! But oh well, they forgot that their trajectory isn't in their control and could only—though very unwillingly—leave it to fate!!

Within the ship's command bridge—a grand chamber, if one had to say—lined with various glimmering monitors and sophisticated control panels on the edge of the bridge on either side, with an enormous viewport ahead… or was it really that??

At the center of the command bridge, one can see a rather young yet handsome boy lying down on the cold, hard floor!! Suddenly, the boy's eyes opened wide as he sat up straight, shouting, "NOOOO!" as he gasped for breath before quickly shrinking into himself a bit, as if cold?

"So... so cold," the boy said…. Whatever he dreamt of as he awoke quickly vanished before the weird place he found himself in!

"What is this place? So dark and cold? Where am I?" He looked around in confusion, seeing a few dozen glimmering futuristic panels with holographic screens flickering around them…. Finally, his gaze landed on the viewport ahead, and from it, a veritable ocean of asteroids and stars beyond them were suddenly before his eyes!!

His eyes widened in surprise; for the first time in his whole life, was he seeing such a weird yet amazingly enormous asteroid field, and beyond it, the grand starry space-like sky!! Many stars were bright—one even more so, appearing as a giant ball of fire not far ahead—while other stars, being very far away, were rather dim….

Only after a couple moments of silence and a daze from the beautiful scenes ahead did the young man notice the weirdness of the situation. And he reacted, astounded, "What the hell? Where the hell am I??"

Looking at the incomprehensible and almost endless asteroid field not far ahead, and even the glaring ball of fire which should be the sun so up close—practically right before his eyes!!

"The hell!!" Abruptly standing up, fighting against the icy cold, he hurried toward the viewport and looked ahead. As if to confirm he wasn't hallucinating, he rubbed his eyes once and twice before realising that it wasn't some kind of illusion, but rather real….

"The heck... I'm damn sure there's no place back on Earth where one can actually see this thing so close!! Not even the Celestial observatory could present something like that…. Even Intergalactic wars and other games, and even movies, can't create such a real and vivid scene like it!!"

Could it be a dream? One that is seemingly very, very real?

"Could be," the young boy muttered, failing to notice somehow the enormous hull below the command bridge's viewport. Might it be because an enormous asteroid was blocking the light from shining on that impossibly big hull?

Or maybe in his confusion, he failed to notice something that was right in front of his eyes!

And what is this cold? Rubbing his hands across his upper body to make it warmer, yet practically with no effect at all—for the cold was a kind which pierces even the bones themselves, making it way too real for just a dream!!

He also realised the feeling he had before, like how lightheaded he felt after waking up, and the rising sense of unfamiliarity within familiarity along with a bit of uneasiness... all of it felt way… just way too real…
