Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 The Way Forward!

Not long after everyone had awakened, only Yun Feng among those present possessed soul power.

The children who had left the wooden house were led away by their parents.

Knowing they hadn't awakened, they weren't too disappointed.

After all, even the father didn't have soul power; no normal parent would complain about their son having it.

Locke, having packed his things, locked the wooden house and took Yun Feng back home, sitting down on a stool.

"Xiao Feng, you know your grandpa is a deacon of the Spirit Hall. Although I haven't been in office for many years, my sense of belonging is still very strong. So, do you want to join the Spirit Hall?"

Yun Feng was taken aback, looking at Locke and slowly saying,

"Grandpa, can someone with only level one innate spirit power like me join the Spirit Hall?"

Seeing the doubt flash across Yun Feng's little face, Locke smiled, patting Yun Feng's head with a hint of reminiscence in his eyes, and slowly said,

"Of course you can. Although you only have level one spirit power, there's still hope of becoming a spirit master. After joining the Spirit Hall, you can receive an extra salary, plus spirit master subsidies. It'll be better than farming!"

Locke's words were all for Yun Feng's benefit, and Yun Feng could feel it.

Therefore, Locke sincerely hoped that Yun Feng could understand these benefits.

After all, in his opinion, Yun Feng was very mature and would definitely understand the benefits involved.

Yun Feng smiled, feeling this invisible warmth, and said with a smile,

"Since Grandpa has said so, I will definitely join the Spirit Hall, but for now, I'd better go to school first. To join the Spirit Hall, I need to be a Soul Master!"

Hearing Yun Feng's words, Locke smiled happily.

"Grandpa has already arranged things regarding school, so you can rest assured."

"In Flower Village, you're the only one with Soul Power this year. There are also spots available for our village at the Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy. Grandpa has some savings from these years, plus some work subsidies from the academy, so food and drink won't be a problem!"

However, there were some things Locke didn't say.

He didn't want Yun Feng to provoke those noble children.

Soul Masters cultivate their sharpness, and even though Yun Feng's Soul Power was low, he didn't want Yun Feng to lose that edge.

  Some things shouldn't be started!

But he also believed that Yun Feng wasn't the kind of fool who

  would cause trouble .

Hearing these words, Yun Feng nodded without hesitation.

  "Thank you, Grandpa!"

  He said this very seriously.

  He understood what Locke meant.

Moreover, everything was already arranged, so why wouldn't he agree?

As for joining the Spirit Hall, Yun Feng wasn't particularly opposed to it.

With so many benefits, why wouldn't he agree?

Even with his current strength, Yun Feng might not be able to hunt spirit rings himself once he reached level ten.

He'd have to spend money to hire an unreliable hunting team.

But joining the Spirit Hall was different.

He wouldn't have to worry about getting a hundred-year spirit ring; he just needed to apply and go to the hunting forest to find the enforcement team. It

  was practically free;

the enforcement team knew exactly what spirit beasts were suitable for his spirit and where they were located.

After all, this was the result of long-term accumulation.

Think about the first spirit ring holders in the original story—ten-year spirit rings! These benefits were undeniably good!

Of course, later, thousand-year spirit rings and the like weren't the kind of benefits the Spirit Hall offered to spirit masters like Yun Feng.

He'd have to rely on himself.

But Yun Feng didn't really care.

He didn't know how long it would take him to reach level thirty!

Even Yu Xiaogang had such difficulty reaching level 0.5 in the original story.

He figured he wouldn't be able to reach level one quickly either!

As for whether the Spirit Hall would accept him, Yun Feng wasn't worried.

His grandfather had dedicated so many years to the Spirit Hall; it was reasonable for him to take over.

Furthermore, as long as one actively joins the Spirit Hall, there's a high chance they'll accept them, especially since Yun Feng's spirit is mutated.

The Spirit Hall, adhering to the principle of not letting go of any opportunity to collect information on unknown spirit masters, would likely accept Yun Feng if they saw him.

They just wouldn't focus on nurturing him.

  This is understandable.

Seeing Yun Feng agree, Locke smiled happily.

He couldn't take care of Yun Feng forever; he was old, and being able to arrange things for Yun Feng's future was a great achievement for him.

At least it fulfilled one wish, so he wouldn't worry too much.

"Since you've decided, Xiao Feng, you must cultivate diligently from now on, and not be half-hearted!"

  Locke's tone was quite serious.

  Yun Feng nodded.

His talent was already quite poor; if he didn't work hard, he would never be able to access the upper world. As someone who had lived two lives, he understood this quite well!

Seeing how sensible Yun Feng was, Locke took out a book from his pocket and solemnly handed it to Yun Feng.

"This is the Spirit Hall's meditation method. Give it back to me after you've finished reading it!"

Yun Feng took it and began to study it seriously.

Seeing Yun Feng like this, Locke got up from his stool and headed towards the kitchen.

The meditation method wasn't difficult to remember.

Yun Feng quickly finished reading it and

began to sit cross-legged to cultivate.

Yun Feng's mind was also fluctuating during his cultivation.

"Blue Silver Grass, as one of the most common plants on the continent, can be said to have no offensive capabilities or other uses. Its only commendable qualities are its rapid reproduction and tenacious vitality; it can be seen almost everywhere." "

Moreover, Blue Silver Grass possesses soul power, which proves that its spirit is a benign mutation, and its characteristics must have changed!"

Thinking of this, Yun Feng's consciousness directly calmed within his body. Looking at the small red grass filled with the smell of blood, a sudden realization arose in Yun Feng's mind!

Combining this with the feeling when he awakened his spirit before, as if it were about to devour his flesh and blood,

Yun Feng still had a guess.

He might be about to follow the path of an evil spirit master.

He couldn't be guided by common sense.

After cultivating for a long time, Yun Feng was interrupted by Locke's call.

After a moment of silence, Yun Feng sighed,

  feeling somewhat lost.

  "This path won't be easy!"

He didn't want to live a life of constantly hiding and running away.

After thinking for a while, he decided,

"I guess I'll have to fleece these lowly scoundrels."

But before that, he needed to develop the characteristics of his martial soul.

How could someone with a god-like perspective possibly lose!

Thinking this, Yun Feng quickly went to the kitchen, helped Locke serve the dishes, and then ate his meal at the table.

Another ten days or so passed.

Yun Feng sat on a small hill outside the village.

Many of the surrounding blue silver grass had withered, while the blood-red grass in Yun Feng's hand had grown considerably stronger!

Yun Feng opened his eyes, a slight smile curving his lips.

His face was filled with joy.
