"Even a fool gets enlightened, an idiot reaches the Dao, and the chickens & dogs ascend. Let alone an intellectual with greater than one crippled brain cell. Fret not, even if you had a crippled brain cell, I alone could carry you to eat chicken dinner.
Good, good, good - you recognised me as your senior, it shows that we are fated and you have potential to be taught. Have no fear, for this senior is near, the meanest of ghosts or foolish young masters, all can be swatted like flies with just a flick of my pinky. Even if the sky falls down, I can poke a hole for safe passage." the more outlandish words dripping from this guy's lips were chilling me further. A mad mans ramblings when resembling something coherent are even more scary.
Now taking a proper look at his face, I recognised this mad man to be a classmate. What was even more bizarre was this was one of the faces I had washed. Did I scrub away the wrinkles in his brain too? Or was the mental impact of the first day too harsh.
Sighing in relief, I decided to play along.
"Thank you for your generosity, senior brother - I am willing to cross hell or high water to assist senior in breaking through the heavens. If there is anything senior needs, just let me know and I will do my best to assist. I must take my leave now, as I have much to help with at home, see you at class tomorrow." thumping my chest and ending on a cordial note, I tried to free myself once again and close the door behind me.
Alas, plans are never able to keep up with change. The grip of this fellow student was elite tier. "Hold on junior martial brother. The road to cultivation is a long arduous path which requires patience, virtue and dedication. Don't be like those fools who sprint faster than wisdom can chase. Here, take this bracelet as a meeting gift and remember a solid foundation is more important than rapid progress. Alright, I've taken more than enough of your time. Catch you later Asta la Alligator." shoving the bracelet in my hands, patting my shoulder and then dissapearing into the distance without another word.
*Sigh* Who can understand the inner workings of a madman. Maybe another madman, but not me and certainly not today. Kneading my head, I quickly hid inside home before I triggered another bizarre encounter or a tantalising beating.
