Ellen felt out of breath after Henry finally released her from the passionate kiss they just shared. Henry had shut her up with a kiss when they entered the room, before she had a chance to ask what was going on. She had allowed it because she wanted to cheer him up a little, which seemed to have worked, because he smiled at her before hugging her tightly. It was an emotional and spirited hug that worked wonders on his wounded soul, which made her relaxed and confident that she was special to him, while being in his powerful embrace, contrary to whatever Stephanie might think. She had been really upset when Steph referred to her as Clara, making it seem like she wasn't an option. It would have been cool if she had asked; "Is it Clara or Ellen?" instead of straightly saying Clara. She took her mind off it and slept, finally knowing what to do for Henry's birthday. "I thought you brought my birthday gift?" Henry finally spoke to her with raised eyebrows after breaking up the hug. "I thought you didn't wish to see anyone." Ellen retorted sarcastically and he smirked. "Well, you're not just anyone. You're Eleanora, my baby girl." Henry replied with a smile, sitting on the bed. "You are so cliché." Ellen said, taking a seat on his lap, after he pulled her down to it, while she blushed. "I'm a lot of things, but cliché? Please, I'm better than that." He replied, placing a hand on her exposed lap. She was wearing straight dress, which was not too tight or loose, with just the right length to please her guy. She wanted to impress Henry, therefore took a lot of time going through her closet, till she found a Gucci dress she bought at the mall, with Stephanie. "You can wear this on a special date with you know who. He'll love it." Steph had instructed when they were buying clothes after returning from France. How that was able to be kept hidden from her parents was a mystery even she didn't know or understand, just grateful they didn't know. "I know you are gorgeous, but you look more so in this dress." Henry complimented, caressing her nape. He had loved what he saw earlier on the staircase, glad to have chased her after they left his door. He loved her fashion sense and often said so. "Thank you. I'm glad you like it." Ellen said with a smile. She loved pleasing him. Seriously, whatever spell this guy cast on her was too powerful and strange thing is, she didn't mind. All that matters was that he loved her as much as she loved him, or so she thought. "So, where's my gift Eleanora?" Henry asked with anticipation to see what she finally came up with. "I didn't know what to get you, but you said you want me. So, your birthday gift is a special date with me, just the two of us." Ellen replied cheerfully. "Wow, you don't say." Henry said with sarcasm, alarming the girl on his lap. "You don't like it?" Ellen asked nervously. "Baby, I love it. Just the two of us, what could be better than that?" Henry replied, kissing her briefly. "Um I don't know, I thought your new car trumps that." Ellen answered his question with a nervous giggle. "New car? What new car?" Henry asked with confusion. "The red car outside. It has your name customized as the number plate. Haven't you seen it? There's a ribbon and balloon with happy '18th birthday' on it." Ellen explained and described it. "Come with me." Henry said, making her get up so they'll go see the car she's talking about. "Oh My God!!!" Henry exclaimed when he saw the car outside. He knew cars better than Ellen and knew it was a Bugatti Veyron, one of the most expensive sport cars in the country, and he owned one now. "Rosie!!!" Henry shouted for his grandmother, thinking she bought it for him. "What is it? Did something happen?" Rosie asked as she came outside after hearing her name to see Henry fussing around the car. Henry rushed to hug his grandmother in pure ecstasy, while Ellen laughed and recorded the whole thing on camera. "Thank you, thank you. thank you!" Henry exclaimed his gratitude while hugging his grandma who was almost falling. "Calmn down Kobby. You are thanking the wrong person." Rosie said in excitement, glad his mood has been uplifted. "What do you mean? Are you not the one who got me this? (Shakes her head) Then who did?" Henry asked. "Your father. He wanted to hand over the keys personally to you, after wishing you a happy birthday. He knows you've had your eye on one of these, and so got it when your car developed a fault. We were going to present it to you this morning, but things didn't go as planned." Rosie explained, her expression turning solemn at her last sentence. "I can't believe this." Henry said in disbelief. "You better do son. I may be your father's mother, but I am not as rich as he is to, buy this kind of car. Terry may have his faults, but he loves you dearly, so cut him some slack dear. He was really looking forward to gifting you this, especially now that you are at the legal age to be driving." Rosie commented. Henry felt an emotion he couldn't fathom, all he knew was that he had to do something. "Where are you taking me to?" He asked Ellen. "Oh, uh it's a surprise." She answered timidly. "Wait here, I'll go get ready." Henry said, making his way back inside. "You don't want me to come with you?" Ellen asked. "Sweetheart, if you come with me, I can guarantee we'll spend the rest of my birthday and your planned date in my room, not that I mind that option." Henry replied with a wink and Ellen blushed. Henry came down after some minutes in a khaki short and a pollo shirt with sneakers. "Thought you were going to change?" Ellen asked with surprise. "I was, then I remembered how you looked at me when you saw me in this. I like to please you as well." Henry said, drawing her in for a kiss. "Ahem, you do realize I'm still here, right? Do you need the car key?" Rosie commented and asked, after clearing her throat. "Sorry Rosie. No, keep it, let dad give it to me. That's what I want." Henry said, after apologizing with a smile. "Aww Kobby, that's very nice of you. I'm sure your father will be very pleased to do that. God bless you son." Rosie said with pride and kissed his forehead, earning a complaint from him. "Rosie come on, my girlfriend is here. Don't treat me like a child." He complained and they laughed. He had thought about it and decided to cut is father some slack and let him present the gift to him. He sure knew how to spend money. Rosie was right, they loved each other, and he loved his father a lot.
