"They never considered me capable… but I had decided to prove myself…"
When I started going to school, I truly loved studying.
Books became my best friends.
At home, no one really cared much about my education.
Grandmother would often say,
"What's the point of educating girls so much… in the end, they just have to manage the household…"
But my mother… she always stood by me.
She encouraged me,
"My child, you just focus on studying… I'll take care of the rest…"
I began working hard day and night.
Sometimes, when there was no electricity, I studied by the light of a candle.
When the school results came out…
I stood first in the entire class.
That day, for the first time… I saw some faces change.
But grandmother still said,
"What difference does it make… a son is still a son…"
Hearing her words hurt me again…
But this time, I didn't cry.
Deep inside, I told myself,
"This is just the beginning… one day, I will change everything…"
