That day it was late at night while I was doing my office work. Almost everyone went home after finishing their work, only I was stuck there for work that day. I was very hungry because I didn't eat my lunch that day and I couldn't have any idea that today's work going to be this late. Anyway, quickly finished my work, packed the documents well, locked my cabin and left for home. It was almost two o'clock at night. The way home is quite far and will take about an hour and a half. But I left thinking there was nothing to do. I came out of the office and saw that anybody was not working overtime today except me because there was no light in any other office window . Seeing that, I realized that I was the only one in the office who was working overtime. Anyway, I started the car and continued driving towards home. I was getting hungry but no restaurant would be open at two in the night. After driving for about half an hour I got a good look to the left of my designated route. It seemed as if the light was coming from a room. I don't know why I thought to go ahead and see. I saw that a restaurant was actually opened. I was a little surprised who kept this shop open on such a dark night. However, due to hunger, I stopped the car and got inside. I entered and saw a very big restaurant. But I didn't see anyone. Stepping a little inside, I suddenly saw a young woman sitting and eating some noodles. I thought maybe she is also a customer but no one else can be seen except that girl. So, unable to find any other way, I went to the girl and said, "Excuse me, do you know where the owner is?" She looked at me and handed the pen and the menu on the table. Without realizing it, I went to the other side and sat down in another table with the menu. I thought at night time, when else can I go home and make food, it is better to have rice and chicken curry, I will go home and go straight to sleep. So I ticked the rice and chicken curry and put the menu on the table thinking that maybe the owner is inside and will take it in a while. But as soon as the menu was placed on the table, the young lady got up and walked in with the menu placed on my table. I didn't understand anything for a while. After sitting in shock for some time, the girl brought rice and meat curry as per my demand and left it on my table. When I first came and saw the girl, I couldn't see her face well because most of her face was covered by her hair. But when the serving girl came in front of me and served the food I saw that this was not a young lady but an old woman. I couldn't understand her posture but seeing her face wrinkled skin, drooping cheeks, hooded eyes... I went blank for a moment. After serving the food, the woman went inside quietly. The noodles she had eaten were lying on the adjacent table. Anyway, avoiding these things, I focused on the food. It was very good to eat, it felt like the hot rice and hot meat cooked instantly. However, I ordered chicken but it didn't taste like chicken at all. I don't know why it felt so weird to eat. At one point I thought of calling the woman and complaining about what she had given instead of chicken but I was so hungry that I didn't think I could bear the time to prepare new food. So I continued to eat what I had. When I called the lady at the cash counter while paying the bill, I got no response. When I did not get any answer after calling several times, I found no other way and got the online payment scanner at the counter. Because it was getting late on the way home, I had to wake up in the morning and come to the office again, so I paid and left there. I got out and started the car, wondering why she didn't come in time to collect the money. There is still an hour left on the way home. Driving through the forest at night was boring so I thought of playing a song. I was crossing the road listening to music in my mind. I don't know how I was feeling in my stomach through all this. I thought I might be having some stomach problems due to eating rich so late in the night so I continued driving. As I drive through the forest, I was hearing my favorite songs. It is also raining a little bit. All in all it's an eerie feeling because I'm all alone.Suddenly it seemed that something ran through the forest on the left side of the car. I hit the brakes and stopped the car in the middle of the forest. Suddenly there was a kind of fear in my mind. My whole body trembled. Because who would run around in this silent forest. Then I thought maybe it was some forest animal. That way I started the car again and left for home. In fear, I ran the car at speed of around 150-200. During this one hour drive I relaxed and finally reached home. As soon as I got home I started having stomach problems and ran to the bathroom. After coming home, it seemed that the food did not suit the stomach.Anyway I finally got into bed and tried to sleep. But I don't know why I can't sleep because it was so late. So I sat up and started reading. The condition of the body did not seem to be very good. Stomach problem persisted and along with it headache started. I don't know if it was due to lack of sleep or the food did not go well. Although it was four in the morning, I went to bed. Other times I go to bed at twelve o'clock. I don't know why the face of that old lady kept coming to my mind through everything. It was as if something terrible was behind that woman.However, while thinking about these things, I finally fell asleep without realizing it. The next morning it was quite late to get up, I didn't even have time for breakfast in the morning and had to rush to the office. I went to the office, besides work, I kept thinking about that woman all day, I don't know why. I didn't eat that well at lunch break because I had a bad stomach problem last night. Today I wanted to finish work early so that I can leave by ten o'clock. And today I thought that instead of going through the forest road, let's go through the city road. Even though the forest road was a shortcut, I didn't want to go through that road again today.In the evening I decided on a road map of work and thought to finish the work roughly by ten o'clock. But at such a time the boss came and said that a new intern is moving slowly in our office tomorrow. So he was saying to finish all this weekend's work today because he wanted to start all over again tomorrow with new staff.I was once again disappointed to have to return home again and late today. I hurriedly left the office with sleepy eyes and locked it. I went out and sat in the car, started the car and quickly left for home. I thought I would go through the city today but it was not the time but there was no other option except the shortcut road, so I left for the forest road.Despite being hungry today after such a strange incident yesterday, I don't want to stop at any restaurant.
