Mana Core
The Blossoming reveals two important traits of the mana core: The Shape and the number of Layers:
Shape:
The shape of a Mana Core determines a mage's natural talents and limitations.
Common (95% of Population)
-The Spherical Core (The Generalist):
Appearance: A perfectly smooth, round crystal.
....
- Uncommon (5% of Population)
The Prismatic Family: Cores defined by sharp edges and geometric precision. All Prismatic cores focus mana along specific axes, granting power in exchange for flexibility.
Layers:
Upon Blossoming (ten years old), the vast majority of humanity will find themselves with a Single-Layered Core. They have one Layer. This is normal. This is expected. This is the foundation upon which they must build their lives.
However, for a rare few, the Blossoming reveals something extraordinary. Their core crystallizes with two distinct Layers already formed. These children are hailed as prodigies, natural talents who can already think in two magical threads simultaneously. They are scooped up by academies, offered scholarships, and groomed for greatness.
Even rarer are the legends—those rare individuals whose Blossoming reveals three Layers. These are generational talents, children who can, from the very first day of their magical life, weave a triad of spells. Kingdoms have gone to war over the right to claim such a child.
While the Shape of the Core is permanent, the number of Layers within it can be increased through dedicated training, discipline, and experience. A person who Blossomed with one Layer is not doomed to remain there forever. Through years of study and practice, they can awaken their dormant potential and forge new Layers through will and mental conditioning.

WITCH TREE (Equivalent of Mana Core for the Humans)
Witches channel mana through a complex scheme of a Tree through thick BRANCHES connected to the Weald, which is the center where the Mana is pulsing and pumped out. And then from each branch, the mana is channeled through even thinner branches called Veins connected to each Branch.
More Branches → more Veins → faster spellcasting and more simultaneous spells.
The BRANCHES are basically equivalent to the LAYERS of a Mana Core, determining the number of Spells a Witch can cast and handle simultaneously.
-1 Branch splits into over 10 Veins
-Common and Ordinary witches have all 2 Branches by birth, so over 20 Veins through which mana is channeled through. They are born already advantaged compared to Humans and their Mana Cores, which work through Mana Channels less efficiently and are more cumbersome in channeling mana than Witch Veins
