"You must be the [King] of the [Blazing Red Dragon Emperor] team, Lord Issei Hyoudou. I am the [Queen] of the [Victoria of the Underworld] team, the Alpha Star Specter, Von Leikang of the Three-Headed Demonic Wolf."
In mythology, the Alpha Star is hailed as the center of all things in heaven and earth and is a symbol of leadership, which fits Leikang's status as the leader within Victoria Housekeeping.
"Ah? Oh, oh! Hello." Issei Hyoudou was startled by Leikang's behavior. In his memory, werewolves were supposed to be a very crude race, but Leikang gave him an impression of being exceptionally polite.
"Even so, I won't show any mercy to the Specters." Issei Hyoudou pulled himself together and said, taking a combat stance as he looked at Leikang.
"Then please excuse my rudeness," Leikang said, bowing once more.
Leikang vanished instantly, leaving not even an afterimage. Issei Hyoudou looked around for Leikang but couldn't find him anywhere.
Awoooooo—!!!
Two wolf howls rang out, and two demonic wolves radiating purple light suddenly appeared in front of Issei Hyoudou. The two wolves pounced simultaneously, sending Issei Hyoudou flying back with one strike.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Issei Hyoudou was knocked back repeatedly, tumbling across the train tracks. When he stopped and looked up, he realized that what had attacked him weren't demonic wolves at all, but Leikang's armored boots, which were styled like purple demonic wolf heads with bloodthirsty red eyes.
"A werewolf using kicks instead of claws and fangs?" Inside the [boosted gear], Ddraig cried out in surprise upon seeing Leikang's fighting style, as he hadn't expected it to be so different from typical werewolves.
"Moon-Hunting Steps." Leikang moved, charging toward Issei Hyoudou like a white wolf chasing the moon.
"Dragon Fang Bishop!" Seeing this, Issei Hyoudou quickly switched to his Dragon Fang Bishop form and fired two crimson magic cannons at the rushing Leikang.
Awoo—!! Awoo—!!
Two wolf howls rang out as Leikang made his move again. His legs transformed into two white hungry wolves that leapt up, crushing the crimson energy shells in their mouths with a single bite.
Then, Leikang lunged forward with a powerful leap and kicked the visor of Issei Hyoudou's helmet. The entire visor caved in, and Issei Hyoudou was sent flying off the train tracks.
"Welsh Sonic Boost Knight!!" Issei Hyoudou switched to his Welsh Sonic Boost Knight form, using the thrusters on his back to charge at Leikang.
Leikang calmly brushed the dust off his underworld armor, his movements entirely elegant, as he slightly turned his head.
Click! Click!
A section of his left armored boot unfolded as if a switch had been flipped. This was an original design Hades had retained when upgrading Leikang; the unfolded part began to vent jets of energy.
Awoooo—!!!
The vented energy transformed into a black phantom wolf that stood beside its master, Leikang. Leikang spoke softly:
"Black Wolf Devouring the Sun."
Leikang performed a spinning kick, and the black wolf followed the strike to attack. Seeing the black wolf, Issei Hyoudou switched to his Dragon Solid Castle form.
Boom!
Although he blocked most of the attacks from Leikang and the black wolf, his armor was left covered in countless bite and claw marks.
"Ugh..." Issei Hyoudou's armor was battered all over. He collapsed on the train tracks, so weakened that he would need time to recover.
Seeing this, Leikang opened his pocket watch to check the time. He tucked it away and turned his back to Issei Hyoudou, saying:
"Before long, the area you are in will collapse. If you still have the strength, you should leave quickly."
Having said that, Leikang strolled away with elegant steps.
"Ugh, ugh!!" Issei Hyoudou forced his body up and spread his dragon wings, leaving the area before it could collapse.
"Leikang..." Issei Hyoudou muttered, looking toward Leikang as his body began to recover.
On the other side
Corinne walked through the city like a lost child, clutching her long-handled circular saw tightly as she looked around nervously. "W-where is this?"
"W-where is this?"
"I didn't expect there to be such an adorable little girl among the Specters."
"Yeah, even a dragon wouldn't have expected this."
At that moment, Hyakki Goshu Ouryu and Bakuha walked up to Corinne, acting like a pair of creepy uncles.
"Don't come any closer!!" Corinne screamed. Then, closing her eyes, she desperately swung her chainsaw at the man and the dragon before her.
Hyakki Goshu Ouryu's clothes were instantly shredded, while the few dragon scales on Bakuha were left with massive, terrifying gashes.
"Wait, what?! What's going on?!" Bakuha looked at the gashes on his body and retreated several steps in disbelief.
"We were too careless! Even if she's just a little girl, we forgot she's still a Specter! And she's using a chainsaw as a weapon!" Hyakki Goshu Ouryu pulled a new set of clothes from his Alternate Dimension and said as he put them on.
Afterward, Hyakki Goshu Ouryu and Bakuha regrouped. Hyakki Goshu Ouryu enhanced his physical abilities with battle aura and charged at Corinne with a punch.
Though Corinne was introverted, she was brave. She swung her chainsaw directly at Hyakki Goshu Ouryu. When Hyakki Goshu Ouryu's reinforced fist collided with Corinne's sea monster chainsaw, countless sparks flew.
However, wounds gradually appeared on Hyakki Goshu Ouryu's fist, and red blood began to flow. His face grew increasingly pale.
"Ha!" Corinne used the long handle of the sea monster chainsaw to strike Hyakki Goshu Ouryu's abdomen. "Gah—!!" Hyakki Goshu Ouryu's eyes rolled back as he was sent flying.
"Ouryu!!" Bakuha cried out in alarm as he watched Hyakki Goshu Ouryu fly away.
"Hieee—!!" Corinne gripped the sea monster chainsaw with both hands and leapt into the air, slashing down at Bakuha. Bakuha raised his arm to block, but sparks flew continuously as the blade bit deeper and deeper into his flesh.
'Dammit! I didn't expect this little girl's chainsaw to penetrate dragon scales!!' Bakuha thought, cold sweat dripping from his forehead as he watched the sea monster chainsaw nearly sink into the bone of his arm.
