With their return, Ed's life became more relaxed.
"Dig and dig in the little garden, plant little seeds and let little flowers bloom." Ed sang as he dug in the soil behind the castle.
Why was the location so precise? Because he planned to build the new castle behind the old one, and the old castle would be located in the garden, with the main road, Chenghua Avenue, in front of the garden.
When the time comes, building a wall will enclose the gardens of the old castle and the grape trellis next to the new castle.
The area under the grape trellis is a great place to cool off in the summer.
Ed's idea is wonderful, but he doesn't know when it will come true.
"Thump!" It sounded like something was under the ground. Ed was overjoyed. Could it be that he had dug up a treasure left behind by the former lord?
Unbelievable! Unbelievable! There was actually a treasure waiting for him.
"Master, is there something down there?" Adelaide and Carly ran over curiously.
"Yes, Adelaide, do you know what this land used to be?"
"Master, I don't know either. I only know that Gray Castle has looked like this since I can remember." Adelaide had no idea.
Perhaps only the old steward knows something about it. Never mind, let's dig it up and see what good stuff it is.
So the three of them started digging, each taking a hoe, and soon a somewhat rotten wooden box appeared before them. Perhaps due to previous preservation measures, the box hadn't completely rotted away.
Ed wiped the debris off the box, which looked quite old. He was overjoyed; he could finally stand up.

"Huh? There's another box inside." Ed carefully took out the small box, which was clearly in better condition; the lock was still on.
But just because the lock is there doesn't mean it can keep what's inside. Ed easily opened the lock.

"I think a box is better." Adelaide felt that treasures should be wrapped up more securely.
"I think there must be some precious treasure inside." Carly felt that using three boxes was already quite appropriate.
Ed looked at the wooden box. It wasn't very well made, but it was well preserved, which meant that the person who buried it didn't want the contents to rot. The probability of finding something good inside was quite high.
Ed opened the wooden box.
"Holy crap!" Ed couldn't hold back any longer; there was even a wooden box inside.
He had lost his patience and quickly opened the wooden crate.
Inside the wooden box were leather-wrapped items, and underneath the leather were layers upon layers of linen.
The last parchment appeared before Ed, and he picked it up.
