Chapter 116 - Garp casually placed the Den Den Mushi beside him on the table.

The moment Kong left, Sengoku immediately contacted Garp through a Den Den Mushi.

Fortunately, there were no accidents—the call connected smoothly.

"Garp, where are you right now?"

"Just finished another boring and tedious mission. I'm already back on the ship preparing to head home. Oh, and tell that guy Kong for me—I'm taking leave, so I won't be returning to Marine Headquarters."

Garp casually placed the Den Den Mushi beside him on the table.

One hand held a drink, the other held snacks, while he lazily rocked back and forth in a chair, fully enjoying himself.

"Forget about coming back. There's an emergency mission. You'll definitely be interested."

"Yeah right, Sengoku. Haven't I fallen for your tricks enough already? I'm not going."

Without even thinking, Garp immediately refused.

Recently, the thing he'd experienced most often was getting tricked by Sengoku.

"You're going whether you want to or not! This mission is too urgent—you don't have the right to refuse!"

Sengoku shouted anxiously.

"Immediately change course and head to God Valley! The Rocks Pirates are attacking it! Kong ordered you to reinforce them immediately!"

Originally, Garp had still looked completely relaxed.

But the moment he heard the words "God Valley" and "Rocks Pirates," his expression instantly changed.

He immediately put down both his drink and snacks, grabbed the Den Den Mushi from the table, and spoke seriously.

"What did you say? The Rocks Pirates are attacking God Valley?!"

"That's right. I knew it—the moment the Rocks Pirates set sail again, this sea was bound to fall into chaos sooner or later. But I never imagined they'd go this crazy and directly attack God Valley. You know very well that…"

Sengoku's tone quickened noticeably.

"God Valley is just like Mary Geoise. It's a place inhabited by the World Nobles—the Celestial Dragons."

"It'll probably be fine. Don't forget, Saint Aurelius D. Virel Is and his people moved to God Valley not long ago. With him stationed there, God Valley should be safe," Garp replied.

"Hopefully. But what if—"

Sengoku stopped himself mid-sentence.

"Forget it. I need to prepare the fleet for departure. Hurry up and change course immediately for God Valley!"

"Alright, alright, I got it!"

After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Garp immediately ordered the navigator to alter their route toward God Valley.

From his current position, it would take roughly thirty to forty minutes to arrive.

Meanwhile, at God Valley—

The Rocks Pirates had already landed on the island.

The harbor was in complete ruin.

Black smoke filled the air.

Corpses lay scattered everywhere, blood flowing across the ground.

Cracks and enormous craters covered the land, making it obvious just how fierce the battle there had been.

Nearly all of Rocks' forces had disembarked onto the island, leaving behind only a small group to guard the ship.

Their advance was extremely fast.

Wherever they passed, smoke rose skyward and buildings collapsed one after another.

"What a damn waste. They actually left us behind to guard the ship!"

One official crew member complained unhappily.

"Exactly. This feels completely unnecessary."

"The Celestial Dragons' nest definitely has countless priceless treasures. Those bastards are definitely planning to keep everything for themselves. We ship guards probably won't even get scraps," another pirate sighed deeply.

"Right? If we went along, we could at least secretly pocket something ourselves. But now? We won't get a damn thing."

"Stop complaining. It's useless. Just guard the ship honestly. If Captain Rocks finds out we abandoned our posts, he'll kill us," the man sitting atop the railing said calmly.

Just as he finished speaking, a voice suddenly came from behind them.

"Look! Two people are flying over from the sky!"

Hearing that, everyone instinctively raised their heads.

But the moment the two figures got closer, all their expressions instantly stiffened.

"Ber… Berna… Aurelius D. Virel Is?!"

One of the men's faces turned pale and rigid.

"Wasn't that guy supposed to be in Mary Geoise? Why is he in God Valley?!"

"Forget why he's here! Hurry and contact Captain Rocks! This is bad!"

"Right! Hurry!"

The pirates immediately reacted and hurriedly pulled out Den Den Mushi to make contact.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard they tried, the calls wouldn't connect.

Most likely, the others were too busy rampaging through the island.

When Is and Tatsumaki arrived above the harbor, both looked slightly surprised.

"This… is the surprise you prepared for me?"

Is glanced toward Tatsumaki and asked curiously.

If this really was her surprise, then it certainly was one hell of a surprise.

The moment Tatsumaki heard that, she frantically waved her hands.

"No no no no! How could I possibly prepare something like this?! This is an accident!"

Is nodded.

Earlier, his attention had been focused on the smoke rising from all over the island, so he hadn't noticed the pirate flag hanging from the massive ship in the harbor.

But the instant he saw it—

He understood everything.

"The Rocks Pirates…"

"You… still ended up walking down this path after all."

Muttering softly to himself, Is slowly descended from the sky, with Tatsumaki following behind him.

BOOM!

A figure crashed down heavily onto the deck.

The impact instantly spread spiderweb-like cracks across the ship's surface.

Everyone stared toward him.

And the moment they recognized Is, cold sweat immediately covered their foreheads.

"Saint Aurelius D. Virel Is!!!"

"Oh?"

A faint smile appeared on Is' face.

"Looks like all of you know who I am."

The pirates subconsciously retreated several steps.

One of them hurriedly turned around and anxiously shouted toward his companions:

"Did it connect?! Did you contact Captain Rocks?!"

"It won't connect!"

"No need to bother anymore."

Is' voice carried an overwhelming pressure despite remaining calm.

"The end of the Rocks Pirates' voyage… is right here."

The terrifying aura he emitted made them feel an unprecedented sense of oppression.

Gulp…

One pirate gritted his teeth.

With a sharp shing, he suddenly drew the longsword at his waist and roared loudly to bolster his own courage.

"Damn Celestial Dragon! Stop acting so full of yourself in front of me!"

Step! Step! Step!

As soon as he finished speaking, he charged forward at full speed.

Then—

An endless series of sonic booms erupted.

In an instant, both the pirates standing before Is and portions of the ship itself were riddled with holes, flesh torn apart and drenched in blood.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

One corpse after another collapsed onto the deck.

Some of them hadn't even realized what had happened before countless paper arrows pierced straight through their bodies.
