She smiled, a satisfied grin spreading across her face as she activated scanning skill. "Oh, by the way…" she continued casually, as if discussing the weather. "You're pregnant with my child."
'What…?' The thought flickered through Ysabel's fading consciousness, a spark of horror and disbelief in the overwhelming sea of sensation. It was the final, crushing blow. The last nail in the coffin.
The realization, coupled with the sheer physical exhaustion and the relentless, overwhelming pleasure still coursing through her body, was too much.
Her head lolled to the side, her eyes fluttering closed as she finally succumbed, plunging into a deep, merciful slumber.
