Chapter 534 - Chapter 534 You're Still Too Timid

The air in the restaurant seemed to solidify the moment the two sides locked eyes.

Solution still showed that spoiled young lady expression.

"What are you looking at? You country bumpkins."

Her public persona was indeed that of a spoiled young lady, but to be honest, her attitude toward forces outside of Nazarick was basically like this anyway. You could say she was playing herself.

The butler took half a step forward, positioning himself between Solution and Makoto's table, and gave a slight bow.

"I apologize. My young lady has been very rude."

With that, Sebas also gave a slight nod to the other tables of nobles in the restaurant.

The nobles exchanged glances, and some gave a small nod in return.

This elderly butler's demeanor earned him some goodwill from everyone present.

Sebas tilted his head and lowered his voice. "Young lady, if this restaurant does not suit your taste, we should leave."

They had been sent out by the sole remaining Supreme Being of Nazarick to investigate the human world, and they had already studied this country thoroughly enough.

This provided a perfect excuse to leave.

Solution took the opportunity to get off the high horse, standing up from her chair. "Good. I don't want to spend another moment in this rural place."

Shalltear, whose figure was more petite compared to Solution, also stood up with a smile and followed.

Her voluptuous, otherworldly figure stretched her luxurious western dress tight, making one worry about the buttons on her chest.

Yunyun stared blankly at Shalltear's retreating back.

She felt that even Arue, who had the best development in her class, might not necessarily compare to that pink-haired girl with the demeanor of a vampire.

Yu remained silent. He had already recognized the pink-haired girl's identity.

Shalltear Bloodfallen.

Also one of Nazarick's top combat forces.

Kazuma watched the three retreating figures, lowered his voice to Naofumi beside him, and said, "Hey, those two just now... they were both beauties, right?"

Naofumi nodded silently, his peripheral vision inadvertently sweeping across Malty, who was sitting across from him.

That delicately made-up side profile was still charming in the candlelight, but he suddenly felt that it didn't make his heart race as much as when he first saw her.

"Hey, Commander, those two from earlier..."

Kazuma lowered his voice another half degree, leaning toward Makoto. "Which one do you prefer?"

Well, Kazuma mainly wanted to figure out Makoto's preferences so he could avoid setting his sights on the same target in the future.

Makoto glanced at him and asked back with a smile:

"Then which one do you prefer?"

Kazuma hesitated for quite a while.

"I'd still choose the pink-haired one."

Kazuma finally made up his mind, rubbing his little hands together, unable to contain his excitement. "She looks so young, but there's so much there. Who can resist that contrast?"

Makoto couldn't help but laugh. "Alright. If we run into her again, I'll create an opportunity for you."

Makoto felt that Kazuma was still a bit too timid, 'You actually chose just one? Too timid. Why couldn't you want both?'

Even people using OPPO phones these days can have two husbands. Having transmigrated to another world to become a Brave Hero, wanting two wives isn't too much either.

Kazuma's eyes immediately reddened, his voice trembling. "Really... Godfather!?"

Makoto waved his hand with a smile. Kazuma nearly slid off his chair to kneel before him.

'No wonder this man had so many subordinates. When he said he'd give benefits, he actually delivered.'

Yu lowered his head beside him, recalling the description of Shalltear's true form in Makoto's book, then looked at Kazuma's excited face.

'Emmm... never mind. No need to say anything.'

"You don't recognize them?"

Yu suddenly remembered something and asked.

Kazuma looked completely confused. "I don't recognize them."

He genuinely didn't know.

Although he watched anime and played games, he didn't really read light novels.

In his view, since excellent novels would eventually get anime adaptations anyway, why read cold, lifeless text? Wouldn't it be better to just watch the anime? It was easier to immerse himself.

Makoto agreed with this. He also didn't like reading Japanese light novels and waited for the anime adaptations instead.

Not to mention that Japanese authors liked to use the first person, which felt awkward to read, but their writing style was also far too verbose.

However, it wouldn't be accurate to say that 'only excellent works get anime adaptations'. In his previous life, there were countless isekai trash novels that got anime adaptations.

For example, this very Shield Hero thing in front of him somehow got an anime adaptation, with a fifth season in the making.

All you could say was that the Japanese animation industry had too much idle money.

After dinner ended, the group walked out of the restaurant.

Yu walked to Makoto's side and lowered his voice. "Senpai, it looks like Nazarick has already started moving."

As someone familiar with the original work, seeing Solution, Sebas, and Shalltear acting together made him guess the purpose of these three coming here: to investigate and gather information.

Makoto didn't seem to care much and merely grunted in acknowledgment.

Yunyun walked on his other side. After chatting with Kazuma for a bit, she learned that Makoto's group had been summoned from another world.

A thin layer of mist formed over her ruby-like eyes. Her fingers unconsciously began kneading the hem of her clothes again.

"So... will you have to go back later?"

To have a friend she had finally made leave again was truly a bit cruel for the fourteen-year-old Yunyun.

"It's fine. I'll take you with me when I go."

Makoto said casually.

Yunyun's face lit up with joy, and she looked up sharply.

But after a moment, she gradually became dejected again, lowering her head and saying, "B-but... I have family..."

Unlike Reze, Robin, and the other girls whom Makoto had brought back from Reincarnation Game's worlds, Yunyun wasn't an orphan. Her father was the chief of the Crimson Demon Clan.

Makoto didn't mind.

He could just take his future father-in-law along too.

Besides, after clearing this world, he would gain the ability to travel back and forth between the real world and other worlds.

He didn't have to worry about any long-distance relationship.

He occasionally went back to the Naruto or One Piece Worlds to satisfy the physical needs of the girls he left behind, like Temari or Shakky.

Late at night…

The accommodations Malty arranged for the group were divided into two places:

Yunyun, as the only woman in the group, was placed in a single guest room on the east side of the palace.

Makoto's group was placed in a group dormitory on the west side of the palace.

Kazuma tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep.

He got up, got dressed, and went out for a walk. He didn't return for about an hour, and his face was dark.

"I ran into those two guys, Kitamura and Amaki. They're staying in single rooms, much better than ours."

"Who?"

Makoto was studying a world map.

Kazuma explained helplessly, "The Brave Hero of the Spear and the Brave Hero of the Sword!"

Makoto had a moment of realization and chuckled lightly. "Sorry, I never bother to remember the names of nobodies."

Kazuma was speechless, 'This guy really could show off anytime, anywhere.'
