"This is enough playing around, Mira. We need to pay attention to the mission now."
Kyle reminded Mira, and she pouted at his warning. However, Kyle remained neutral and did not show Mira that he was affected by her looks.
Finally, Mira sighed and nodded to show that she understood what he was saying, which was fortunate.
Mainly because Shelly looked like she was going to eat Mira alive.
Kyle had figured out Shelly's nature, and unlike Mira, he had no intention of provoking her more than necessary. He did not enjoy having his neck on the line, after all.
"Let's leave now. The sooner we get to the lab, the sooner we can start investigating."
Kyle changed the topic, and everyone nodded. Mira was the only one who looked sulky at his words, but that was because she had figured out what he was trying to do.
"This is not fair. Are you trying to ruin my fun?"
She asked in a whiny voice, but Kyle just flicked her forehead playfully.
