Chapter 11 - Yeorniva: The Goat

The day starts off with the soft morning light.

Ripples ran across the water as Yeorniva emerged, water sliding off his hair.

Kiyowu followed, towel wrapped around her, eyes scanning the surface.

"What's your plan for eating?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Want to eat fish? I can cook," Yeorniva replied, voice calm.

Kiyowu smiled, "Sure, why not."

A sudden glimmer near the water drew her gaze.

Without warning, she dove in.

"Oii! Kiyowu, wait!" Yeorniva shouted, diving after her.

Moments later, Kiyowu surfaced holding a shining object.

"You threw away the ring I gave you?" she asked, lips curved into a cute, angry expression.

"Oh… ohh… my bad! It just slipped away. Don't be mad," he stammered.

Kiyowu's laugh rang across the pond. "You don't even get it. I was just joking."

"And so was it…" Yeorniva muttered.

She slid the ring carefully onto his finger. A faint jolt ran through him, and he flinched.

"Urgh," he exclaimed.

"Enough joking," she said, eyes sparkling.

"I'm not joking… it shocked my finger slightly," he admitted, surprised.

Her expression softened. A memory flickered across her mind: "Someone who can protect you forever… I designed it so only they can wield the telekinesis."

Kiyowu stepped closer. "Will you always protect me? Will you always stay by my side?"

Blushing, Yeorniva whispered, "Of course."

She leaned in, kissing him, lips pressing gently, but with intent.

A terrifying roar split the air.

From the forest emerged a monstrous form, taller than the treetops. Eyes like molten rubies glowed in the shadows. A twisted hybrid of goat and serpent, scales bristling, fangs bared.

Kiyowu gasped.

Yeorniva acted without hesitation. He caught her in his arms as the creature lunged.

The beast's claws scraped the earth; the ground cracked under its weight.

He set her down safely, then leapt into the air. Fingers extended, pointing the ring and middle finger at the goat-serpent. Slowly, he lifted his hand.

The massive creature shivered, caught in his telekinetic grip.

From a distance, silhouettes watched—Aurelian squinting through the window, Yuro's eyes widening in disbelief.

Yeorniva hurled the beast into the air. It twisted, trying to bite, but he controlled its trajectory mid-flight.

"CRUMBLE IT!" Kiyowu's voice rang out, sharp and commanding.

Yeorniva hesitated, feeling the pull of mana drain against him, but his focus did not waver.

He traced a precise gesture in the air, fingers weaving through the unseen currents of power.

The goat-serpent froze. Cracks appeared along its scaled body. Fissures widened, dark energy writhing in the fractures.

The massive limbs of the beast trembled as tiny fragments of scale began to fall.

Yeorniva's eyes narrowed. He pushed with every ounce of his telekinesis, guiding the fractures to spread, every gesture deliberate.

"Now…" Kiyowu whispered, voice steady.

A final, forceful motion from Yeorniva's hand.

The goat-serpent's form splintered violently, its colossal body shattering from head to tail.

Ashes floated in the air, drifting down to rest across the forest floor.

Even the faintest trace of the beast was gone.

Only the whisper of wind moved the scattered remnants, leaving the forest silent once more.
